Below is the link to a PDF document that contains information about the various FDOT options for extending Rt 31, thereby bypassing downtown. According to FDOT the primary reason for a Rt 31 Bypass is to keep trucks from taking a left on 70 towards Arcadia.
The best option for Arcadia Village is to have FDOT do nothing as all of those options will have some impact and a few will change the nature of our village forever.
Ron Freeman Jr has asked me to post this document and request that residents print page 1 and comment on how this will impact you and the Village. Remember that having FDOT do nothing is probably the best option for us.
